Curriculum Vitae
Yassine Nabou, Ph.D. · Postdoctoral Researcher · University of Helsinki
Professional Experience
Postdoctoral Researcher
Research on mathematical optimization, including the development and analysis of efficient algorithms for smooth, nonsmooth, constrained, and nonconvex optimization problems. Current research also explores optimization methods for inverse problems, PDE-constrained optimization, distributed learning, and federated learning.
Research Intern
Investigated optimization methods for large-scale power-flow problems arising in European electricity transmission networks.
Visiting Researcher — UCLouvain
Collaborated with François Glineur on efficient first-order algorithms for large-scale nonconvex optimization problems.
Visiting Researcher — University of Genoa
Collaborated with Silvia Villa on higher-order optimization algorithms for structured nonconvex optimization problems.
Research Secondment — Toulouse Mathematics Institute
Conducted research on optimization methods for inverse problems and variational inequalities in collaboration with Pierre Maréchal.
